| About The Project |
A Resource for ERISA Professionals:
- The most detailed index of DOL ERISA Advisory Opinions available.
- Constantly Updated: an editorial process which constantly subjects each Advisory Opinion to additional analysis, retrieving from each Opinion additional layers of insight and information.
- A scrollable index allowing the analyst — rather than a computer programmer — to control the research project.
- PDF files of Advisory Opinions issued from 1974 through 1991 rather than text transcriptions.
- Advisory Opinions from 1974 through the present arrayed in the form of a simple grid, allowing the analyst to locate a particular Opinion in a matter of seconds.
- A site review process which incorporates comments and suggestions from subscribers.
- A necessary resource for Attorneys, Regulators, Policy Makers, Human Resource Professionals, Banks, Trust Companies, Service Providers, Plan Officials, and Third Party Administrators.
- Ideal for Law Students, Plan Participants, Accountants, Corporate Officials, Actuaries, Non-Profit/Church Plans, and Government Plans.
This project has four purposes:
- to make available to all members of the ERISA regulated community the most extensive repository of resources concerning ERISA Advisory Opinions;
- to provide an index which possesses the style and breadth of of legal indeces, reporter digests, and legal encyclopedia with which lawyers typically become acquainted during law school;
- to provide this information is an inexpensive form, such that solo practitioners and law firms with relatively small numbers of attorneys can gain access to information which is oftentimes prohibitively expensive; and
- to increase the quality of advocacy at the ERISA bar.
